What does "Rule scope" mean?

Rule scope determines the entities that the rule checks the conditions for, and then takes action on. This could be a specific list of campaigns/ad sets/ads, or any campaigns within the advertiser, or whatever you like.

e.g., Setting a rule scope to "any ad set within 4 specific campaigns":


Selecting an entity as part of the rule scope enables it to be possibly affected by the Automation Engine, should those conditions be met — anything that has not been selected will not be touched.
